Jowl Tightening: 6-Month Before & After (Jan–June)
This is one of the most common questions I get is:
“Does facial massage actually work?”
To answer that, I’m sharing my own photos—taken six months apart—so you can see exactly what changed after I committed to a simple, consistent routine for my jawline and neck.
The full method I used is broken down step by step in my Turkey Neck Rescue guide, but this page is here to show you the visual progress that’s possible with just a few minutes a day.
No filters. No fillers. Just me—and what I did.

What I did to get these results
I focused on two things:
No fancy tools. No treatments or injections. Just my hands, a little facial oil, and a short routine I stuck with—daily or almost daily.
If you’re curious about exactly what I did (and how I stayed consistent even when progress felt slow), I break it all down in my Turkey Neck Rescue guide.
It shows the full plan I used, including the specific moves that helped tighten my jawline and smooth the neck area.

FAQ:
Answer: I started noticing subtle changes around weeks 4 to 6, but the real difference came between months 3 and 6. That’s when my jawline looked more defined and my neck started to smooth out.
Answer: Nope—just my hands, a bit of facial oil, and consistency. No tools, machines, or treatments.
Answer: A professional facelift is surgical and gives immediate lifting. My results are from natural stimulation of facial muscles and lymph flow, which takes longer but supports healthy skin from the inside out.
Answer: My complete step-by-step plan is laid out in the Turkey Neck Rescue guide and Facial Exercise guide.
Answer: At the time of these photos, I was only using my hands—no tools, no devices, and no fillers. It was a simple massage and facial muscle routine I did consistently.
That said, I did start using both a Kansa wand and gua sha tools later on to help support circulation and lymphatic drainage.
They’re now a regular part of my routine and work beautifully alongside the techniques I used during this six-month period.
Answer: Nothing fancy. I mostly used clean, hydrating products—like facial oils or organic moisturizers to help my hands glide during massage.
I wasn’t using any firming serums or treatments, so the changes in my jaw and neck were from massage and muscle activation alone.
Takeaway
This 6-month transformation didn’t come from high-tech tools or cosmetic procedures—it came from staying consistent with a simple, natural routine.
If you’re wondering whether facial massage and muscle activation can really make a difference, let this be your proof: small daily habits can reshape and refresh your lower face over time.
You don’t need to do everything. But doing something—with intention—can lead to visible results.
