The mystical ayurveda Kansa Wand is not a hoax!

This therapy massage wand really does exist and really does help firm and “de-bloat” your face and jowls. Some claim it’s even better than the gua sha or jade roller.
Have you ever wished for an inexpensive, at-home facial massage that not only feels awesome but also delivers real, visible results?
Imagine a tool trusted for over 5,000 years in Ayurvedic medicine for its skin-rejuvenating powers. This authentic Ayurvedic face massager does more than relax muscles.
Combining healing metals and deep tissue massage, the Kansa Wand is a time-tested ritual for firmer, glowing skin.
Curious how it outshines gua sha and jade rollers? Let’s find out why it’s essential for your skincare routine.
What is the Kansa wand
What does it do?

This is my kansa wand in the picture above.
I always use it all over my face and neck, but especially like to de-puff my under chin and jowl area.
I knew I was on to something special when that smooth, cooling bronze dome (sitting on top of a 100% teak wooded handle) glided across my face.
After I finished the massage, my skin had a rosy glow, like I just had a facial. And my face looked more relaxed and less lined, especially around my eyes.
A healing Metal tool: Benefits
According to Ayurveda medicine, this bell metal, deep tissue massage tool offers many healing and anti-aging effects on facial skin. This ancient Ayurvedic face wand allows you to take advantage of a 5,000-year-old facial technique that offers a deep tissue massage.
Benefits:
- Stimulates blood circulation
- Promotes lymphatic drainage
- Reduces puffiness (e.g., under-eye bags)
- Tones and tightens the skin
- Promotes collagen production
- Improves elasticity
- Reduces fine lines and wrinkles
- Balances skin’s pH levels
- Promotes a healthy glow
An Added Benefit: Giving yourself a facial massage can be tiring on your fingers and hands. Especially for those with arthritis or joint issues.
However, with this bronze face roller, you can give yourself a deeper, longer, more effective massage with ease. It can be used while reading or watching TV.
Ayurvedic massage tool: Before and after photos
My Before & After Photos
Here are my before and after photos after using this Ayurvedic wand for about 5-8 minutes.

In the after photo below, my jaw line looks a bit firmer, at least in my opinion. 😉 And, that little bit of crinkling on the bottom jawline is smoother.

Kansa Wand vs. Gua Sha vs. Rollers

Kansa Wand Vs. Gua Sha Vs. Rollers
Jade Roller:
- Small cylinder shape
- Cannot effectively encourage drainage and depuff the face and eyes
Gua Sha:
- More effective than the roller due to its curved shape
- Smooth, flat edge can “scrape” the skin and stimulate muscle tone
- Encourages fluid drainage
- A heated/vibrating gua sha also helps product absorption
Kansa:
- Smooth, rounded copper head
- Applies deep pressure to stimulate and firm facial muscles
- Encourages more draining without pain
- Naturally anti-microbial copper dome
- Comfortable wooden handle
Kansa wand is not a hoax: Here is what you can expect

During and right after your facial massage, you may see a graying film on the skin. According to the company, this is a sign that it’s working to help balance your skin’s pH level and detoxify your skin.
Simply rinse your face with a washcloth to remove the film after each massage session. Over time, with regular use, you’ll see less film.
How does the Kansa face massager help with wrinkles?
When your face holds a lot of tension and stress, it causes the muscles to tighten and contract, thus pulling the face downward, and exaggerating (and forming) lines and folds.
This is one reason why Botox is so popular, it keeps the face looking more relaxed.
Most people, including myself, found that the face looks more relaxed and lifted after using this Ayurvedic massage tool.
This type of massaging tool has been used in India for centuries to promote healthy skin and reduce stress because it stimulates pressure receptors located under the skin, reducing stress hormones.

Where to buy the wand
Please note: This holistic massage wand is often sold out because of its popularity.
If so, check here for a full size wand with FREE face oil. Or if that’s sold out also try this link for the smaller face wand.
Kansa wand side effects on the face: The graying effect
There is a common aftereffect called the “graying effect”. This is when your skin is left with a slight grayish tint after a massage therapy.
This is caused by a chemical reaction between the acid level in your skin and the copper metal dome. Simply wipe the tint off with a wet cloth.
Note: If you have sensitive skin or issues with dermatitis or acne, try the wand on a small area first to gauge how your skin will react.
Kansa Wand – FAQ’s
If you don’t find the answer to your question below, feel free to contact me.
A: This is a chemical reaction between the high acid on your skin and the pH balance effect of the copper dome head of the wand. After the first few times you use the wand, you may notice a slight gray film over your skin. This film washes right off, and you’ll see less of this film, the more you use it.
A: I try to use it at least once a week or if I’m stressed and look tired. However, you can use it as often as you like.
A: It helps reduce tension in the face which helps reduce appearance of lines and wrinkles. It also helps de-puff and sculpt your whole face and neck – defining your facial contours. You can learn more about sculpting your face here…
A: Personally, I like the wand because I can apply deep muscle stimulating pressure, but if I try that with the gua sha hurts too much.
However, they’re both good for your face in different ways. A good quality gua sha offers heating, vibrating, microcurrent, red-light therapy.
Where the wand helps provides more benefits in terms of muscle simulation and lymphatic drainage.
A: I usually just wipe it down with a soft cloth after each use. You can also dip the metal dome into a bowl of mild-soapy water and rinse& dry well. Do not clean the wooden handle, just the metal dome.
A: Any good quality oil that can be used on your face will work. Coconut or jojoba oil.
If you find these oils are too heavy for your skin, clogs your pores or causes breakouts, consider using oils designed specifically for the face.
A: Not really. The Kansa is an ayurvedic, Indian face massage tool. And, the Gua sha is a traditional Chinese technique that involves scraping or rubbing a smooth-edged tool across the skin to stimulate blood flow and promote healing.
The only way they’re similar is that they both help improve circulation, relieve muscle tension, and encourage lymphatic drainage.
A: Yes, Kansa therapy wand can be used on the body and the feet too!
A: I never tried Ranavat Kansa wand, but they do look similar from what I can tell online.
A: The Kansa Wand is sometimes referred to as the “Kansa Massage Wand” or simply “Kansa Wand Massager.”
It is a traditional Ayurvedic massage tool made of Kansa metal, which is a blend of copper and tin, believed to have therapeutic benefits for the skin and body.
